Small rooms, not the greatest food, but nice setting. Away from the small town so you need to bike in to get to other restaurants. Rooms lacked mosquito nets/screens. Lovely sunrise

We spend a great time here. It's such a lovely place, and people are SO nice ! Rooms are nice and clean. Amazing view on the sunrise over the Mekong. Even just to have a lunch, it's a good choice to come here, you are on the river in a peaceful garden.
The owner was adorable with us, he helped us for our motorbike flat tire, he sent someone to repair it. He gave us many good advices. Thank you !response / report this review -

This hotel is run by the nicest Thai couple. They were really kind and helpful to us. They helped organize our bicycle rental, provided maps of the area and very valuable information.
They will drive you to the bicycle/motorbike rental place if you need it. Also, if you get dropped off in the "centre" of town, if there is such thing, and you don't come by any tuktuks, just call the hotel and they will come and pick you up.
The hotel is located right in front of the river, it has beautiful river views. In the morning, if you manage to wake up early, you can see the sunrise on the side of the river and in the evening you can see the sunset on the side of the mountains.
You can easily cycle to Vat Phou from here, it's just 7km away and the road is flat. You can cross to the nearby island (Don Daeng) too, ask at the hotel, they'll tell you how.
Our room was very spacious and clean. There was a fridge, flat screen TV and a kettle for making tea or coffee. Breakfast was very good and quite big!
We would definitely recommend anyone staying in this hotel if it is within their budget.response / report this review
