We had a good experience and the boatman knew his stuff and respected the dolphins.
Only 4 dolphins left :(
Pick up a boat pilot from the old french port and he will take you out to see the dolphins. At the time of this picture the river is very high, in the more dry season there is a great deal more vegetation and interesting islands. All in all this is a good experience and certainly worth doing, it's nice to be out on the river after spending so much time admiring it.
We came to see the dolphins and everything was as advertised. We had 30 different views of a dolphin from the viewing area on the Cambodian side (you have to pay a fee or something, blah blah blah). I am sure we saw the same dolphins numerous times, but in the 90 min we spent there, we had lots of viewing opportunities.
