A truly beautiful location. Perched on the banks of the Mekong River and Nam Ou River, this is a fantastic place to sit and eat some really good Laotian food after a boat ride up the Mekong to the caves.

Glad to be first reviewer. I felt to use some good lunch after my visit to Pak Ou Caves ended and asked my ferry to shuttle me to the other bank of the Mekong River. I noticed the awards hanging on the restaurant's wall were in Chinese. So I approach the restaurant runner, a lady, about it. She told me those were from one of her sons. She was so proud of him studying at Chongqing University, China and showed me his pictures from her phone.
The foods served here were fundamentally traditional Laos. The ingredients were not refined - keeping the authenticity and originality. I wish her great business to grow and hopefully to see her again next visit.response / report this review
