Amazing room with wonderful view over the Mekong River ! The room was huge and really clean. Staff was really nice and cleaned our room after the first day. We thought we would not have any hot water but we did. We had a perfect stay here !!

D is a guesthouse with only 4 huts all facing the river in a beautiful setting. Each has a hamrock and bench on the terrasse for good relaxation. The rooms are spaceous, clean and bed is also good. Bathroom has got water, but that's the only nice thing to say about this :)
The place is owned by a very lovely family, willing to help. We even joined them on a day trip to Don Khong for a boating race.
D is located on Don Khone island, which we were very pleased about. It's still within biking distance of Don Det and is just a bit more real island experience than Don Det, which is more tourist and parry. It depends what you are after. You have 3 brilliant restaurants just nearby for breakfast, lunch and dinnerresponse / report this review -

The rooms are clean and bed/pillows quite comfortable. There is A/C, fan and mosquito net. There is a balcony on the Mekong with an unobstructed view. A hammock and lounger are available. The door to the balcony didn't seal properly so it's good to have the net. The down side was there is no place to hang anything. The bathroom is okay, pretty normal, wet bathroom with hot shower. The restaurant was closed for the season so you have to eat elsewhere.
If you don't like kids, don't stay here. The restaurant area is a playground for the owners and local kids which is common on the island. Keep in mind like most times kids get together it's loud and if you don't like them or aren't used to kids, can be annoying.response / report this review -

Decent clean room with AC, fan, mosquito net and WiFi for 100000Kip in low season. Bed was very comfortable. Main path out front gets messy when it rains bit that's not the fault of the guesthouse. Only downside is there's lots of kids playing around making a lot of noise, so bring earplugs for napping/sleeping earlier. They sometimes play in empty rooms which can be a bit noisy. Not a bad view from balcony over the Mekong but rains have meant no visible sunsets in 3 days.

Fantastic, peaceful, and a great view of sunset from the balcony. Ended up staying twice as long as planned and would go back tomorrow if I could.

Lovely little place with 4 spacious Bungalows with comfy beds, each room has a balcony - right above the Mekong river - with a fantastic view over the river and the countryside.
The restaurant is offering various kind of food and it's all very delicious. Hint: Try the steamed fish with sticky rice!response / report this review -
