The food here is simply amazing, fine dining at its best for carnivores, vegetarians and vegans a like!
Freshest of high quality ingredients, flavour balances, friendliness/accommodating of the staff/owner/chef alike are like no other and price of dish with added free samples while I waited had me feeling like I won the lottery after I paid my bill!
I’ll be back here as many times as I can while I’m here, hands down best vegan food I’ve had in Laos 🇱🇦

Best Laos meal we have had in the last 4 days stay in LP.
We had try a few Laos restaurant , from street to 60 euro per person Manda de Laos restaurant. This definitely hits the spot and we even reorder the curry chicken.
Most recommended dishes are the grilled fish in Banana leaf, chicken curry with black rice and fish Rice noodle soup.

Toui, owner and chef of the café is a very hospitable man with really good cooking skills. Definitely try his food. The rooms are nice and clean for the price.

The best tofu larp we have EVER had. It was so good that we went back again and ordered one serve each so we wouldn't have to share. They have other Laos style dishes as well that are also excellent. Catered really well for vegans too which is a bonus! Toui is often around and happy to chat about his recipes.

Lao creations at its best - freshest produce, great balance, texture of the fish and the fried tofu - simply mouthwatering just thinking about it again

Good Lao food. Cozy and small restaurant which gets crowded at dinner. Price is about 40000 to 50000 kip for a main dish. Sticky rice or steamed rice is charges separately at 10000 kip.

Went supper last night. The food is delicious, we had the chicken skewers, sausage and pumpkin curry with rice. This was plenty for two people. It is pricier then other restaurants but I felt the quality of the food made it worth it. Our total including a big BeerLao and a soda water was 136,000k.

Reasons it didn't get 5 stars: 1) the fact that they squish so many tables in a small area. If you are beside some loud talkers like we were, it makes it hard to enjoy. I know they can't be responsible for loud talkers but it's a factor based on space. 2) The waiter made a mistake on our order. It caused confusion when we pointed it out but was corrected after a short wait. Don't expect a western solution where you receive a discount on your bill. 3) If you pay with credit card there is a small fee added on that we were not made aware of up front.

High quality food. Really tasty. Clean place on a quiet side street. Well designed English menu with descriptions. Creative cocktail selection. Highly recommended.
