This is a semi-private park with entry fee, one price for local one price for "Falang"" (foreigners). This is my 3rd visit to the park, and I have seen progress. My first visit to the location was in 2007. I'm sad to see the stationary stand not there any more due to permitting issues. Perhaps they''ll be back when the building for the gift shops is done. Recommendations: 1) to avoid catastrophe with the steep stairs to one of the monument, please put guiding ropes; 2) reference the stories of the animals and figures in the park (e.g. the cricket); 3) restaurant/ice-cream place, a family spot? I do like the addition of the cold drinks stand. What happened to the fresh coconuts and traditional snacks (e.g. mak yum, green mangoes, etc) .

A bit of a novelty park on the Mekong and a very pleasant half day independant tour by local bus from Vientiane to just past the Friendship Bridge (about 40 minutes each way). Good modern facilities on site, pleasant landscapes, statuary curiosities. Take care climbing the giant pumpkin as 'elf n safety doesn't really exist.

take a no.14 bus from terminal and pay 6,000kip per person to the park. It takes about 40-50 minutes. There is numerous sculptures which are very unfamiliar but unique. You can see all around the park in an hour.

Pineapple statue a great climb with great view. Very small and no info. Good fried rice. Loved the bus journey. Thailand just across the lake. Love it

While interesting to see, this shouldn't be a priority unless you've hit all the other major sites in Vientiane. About an hour by bus, the park has less cultural significance than temples in the region but is still pleasant if you can find a shady spot. Catch the 14 from the bus station behind the morning market, which will cost you 6000kip. Entry is 15000kip.

Thought this place was amazing. Staff very helpful and friendly. Security mainly. Grounds littered with sculptures well worth a visit. Beautiful.Grounds are lovely too. Well done.

In vientiane there is few places to see, and Buddha park is one of these places. Just take a bus in the city to reach there, is cheap and safe, try to get a seat because the way take around 1 hour.
In the park there is a monument you can go inside and there are 2 ways to reach the top, through the middle and around. If you go in the middle is dark and full of small statues, I recommended this way.

Gorgeous area with a lot of intricate and ancient work. I particularly liked the 3 levels of Hell Earth and Heaven. View on the top is worth the climb and the restaurant by the water is a good place to cool off after you have finished. A must see if you are in Vientianne

One of our cheapest activities we found. Buses easily found and the bus terminal, and return busses every 15 minutes we spent a hour here and got lots of nice photos that you probably wouldn't get at temple's. A nice experience

Comercialized now. Paid parking and paid to go to the bathroom. The park was naturally beautiful back then. Now it's been taken over by private sector.

Go with bus 14. Don't pay a hostel or Tuktuk 70.000 kip. Local bus is 6000 kip and the entrance of the park only 5.000 kip.
It's a nice garden to walk, but there are no stories written by the statues. So I don't really know what I am looking at.

And when you're going there make sure on your way back with bus 14 one stop before the buddha park to go to the inpeng riverside swimming pool. It's by a fancy hotel but you can swim there for just 20.000 kip. It's very cheap for 3 pools with 8 slides.

Nice place to go but we had a bad experience with the restaurant inside the park. We ordered fried fish and they cheated us by taking some fish meat out for themselves. We asked them about it, of course, they didn’t accept . I took a picture of it but I don’t know how to post😓

Interesting Buddhist / Hindu style statues. Nice if you like this sort of stuff. Entrance fee was 5000 kip.

I wanted to try the public bus so this was a great opportunity; an interesting ride of some 45 min from the bus terminal (fare: LAK 6K). Reaching there at 16h I had just one hr to spend, which was sufficient. You probably wouldn't need more than an hr coz of the heat anyway.

I understand the statues here have little historic value though they may appear to be old. Better consider it a fun park of a rare collection of some weird sculptures. Very easy access by bus/bike, not worth paying for the tour I'd say.

Nice place to visit in vientiane. You can catch the local bus from the bus station in the downtown near the shopping mal and pay 6000 kip. The bus has air condition and it id about 45 min trip. You must find the bus number 14

Nice Place to visit. Huge budha statues and other gods. Cheap entrance although little far from vientiane (1h by motorbike) but definitely is worth.
Careful of Lao Police looking for "invented" traffic offensers, when going out of vientiane.

An interesting park just outside central Vientiane. We got a tuk tuk ride there and back which didn't cost much. The road is pretty bumpy and a fairly memorable journey. It think it was around 5000kip or so entry fee. It's not a huge park, but what it lacks in size, it makes up for in statues. There is also a head that you can climb into and experience different levels. From heaven to hell of we interpreted it correctly. It can get super hot so avoid the midday period.

Very lovely place. The park is small, but has a lot of statues, so you can spent a lot if time to explore them. Entrance fee is 5000 kip. The bus that goes there is N14 and cost 6000 kip to one way.

It's ok but the road to it is not tarmac surface for a few miles. Interesting place with unusual sculptures and a large replica of Earth with devil he'll below and rising tree to heaven above. You can go inside mouth of the Earth and climb up inside through corridors and come out at the top of the World. Make sure you don't need toilet here as it's filthy and costs 2,000 LAK to enter.

Fascinating mix of objects. The last ~5 kilometers of the approach road is quite bad. Wouldn't recommend riding a bicycle there. 5,000 kip to get in, another 3,000 if you declare a camera at the ticket booth.

Okay place to go to pass some time when in Vientiane. The statues are interesting, especially the big round thing where you can climb up on top. Went there in May 2017 and the road was awful - dusty and consisted of 99% potholes. Make sure to bring a scarf or something to cover your face if you go by motorbike (until they fix the road).

Easy to get to on the public bus, though it'll take you a bit of time. Trippy spot and entry is only 5,000 kip.

Good place for travel. We went to there by motobike from center. It took around 40 minutes. The weather was so hot. We recommend to go there on 4 or 5 pm.
