I went here my first morning in Luang Prabang and it was a good way to talk to young locals—the kids I spent time with were local university students who were very eager to speak in English.

Help the Lao people a little bit by talking with them in English. Loads of fun and you learn yourself also something about Lao culture. Everyday from 1700 till 1900 hours.

For two hours twice a day, every day, for the price of simply speaking in English, I get to hear about the lives, interests and goals of locals ranging from young children to university students, both laypeople and novice monks. If you are looking for a more authentic experience beyond visiting the major sites in the area, eating at the best restaurants and buying things that Luang Prabang is known for, spend a couple of hours at Big Brother Mouse; it might just be your most cherished thing when you leave.
