  Great for 3 Kilo walk around the lake have night market. Many good and descent mini restaurants. Ocean like environment.

  Issue with trash, cow poop, and disconnected footpaths, but still one of the most peaceful places in Vientiane for a morning walk or run.

  Good place for future development currently leased to Chinese investor for developing a new city called Special Economic Zone with many business activities will be in this area.
  
  Currently people enjoy for evening workout around the lake but there is no any business there you have to bring your own bottles of water as well.
  
  Main gate of the lake was created a new night market which same concept like Chao Anouvong night market next to Mekhong river but there a little of shoppers walk.

  Don't go there. It's under construction, I think. Very far and time-spending place. However, someday in future, I wish go there again after well constructed.

  I was there for recreation, taking a walk and jogging a long the lake. There is no shop or restaurant. Construction of buildings (which I understand are residential building) are on-going.
