  Fun and friendly hostel. Good value. The organization of the kitchen and in particular the fridge could be improved (a freezer set at the lowest setting does not function as a second fridge, believe me). Great views.

  We stayed twice in the hostel in Almaty. Very friendly and helpfull staff. they are very motivated. I felt very quick at home. The accomodation is clean and cosy. The terrace has a great view over the city and it is great to relax and enjoy.

  Nice hostel. Really good location and great communal area (this was not available for much of Friday night though). The staff are very friendly and helpful, the beds are comfy and the rooms are clean. The breakfast is decent and the kItchen facilities are good. I would definitely stay here again if I'm in Almaty.

  The best accommodation that I had so far in Almaty. Very reasonable prices, friendly and helpful staff and clean. Major advantage the veranda on the top of the building: watch a beautiful sunset drinking a beer!

  Good place to stay. Only 3 stars because wifi doesn't work, and when we stayed there was no hot water so we couldn't take a proper shower.

  Good hostel. Clean. The hygiene is good in private rooms. Nice view. Would recommend it. Prices are fair. Friendly people who will help you if needed.

  Very friendly and clean. Staff also very helpful .. with breakfasts starting in October 2016 nice mix and look forward to coming back here when in Kazakhstan again!

  Cons:
  1) Frustratingly patchy wifi - there are brief moments when it is really fast but most of the time it's very slow, especially at night when everyone needs it/is using it. You're better off with the free wifi at Mcdonalds
  2) 1 toilet to 12 pax in a room can be quite a challenge if it's a full house
  3) No lockers
  
  Pros:
  1) Bed is comfortable and comes with privacy curtain
  2) Located on the 11th floor with a good view of the mountains
  3) 10mins on foot to a metro station and small mall with a supermarket
