The museum is not the easiest to find. You need to turn right after you go up the stairs towards the arch. It is a small room with a collection of relics, badges, photos, news articles from the soviet era. Personally I liked the large painting on the wall picturing a battle scene. There are no descriptions in English at all, the entry fee is 1000TT. Ask for the museum after you enter, it's not too obvious where it is.
