  A truly beautiful lake. We visited it in mid-October so the season is over and there were almost no people. There's a gate 7 km before the lake where you have to pay for the entrance. 200KZT per car and some more for people.

  An absolutely beautiful place and worth spending a couple of days. You can get to the lower lake by car but need to go by foot or horse to the other ones. I stayed at a hotel up on the hill above the first lake and it is the perfect place to base yourself for some outdoor activities.

  First Kolsai lake is very a nice place to visit but if you wish to truly see its beauty at least a small hike along the coastline is needed.

  Nice place for hiking, trekking and fishing. There're 4 Kolsay Lakes. But at the moment you are allowed to go to Kolsay 1 and 2 only. After the second lake there's a border territory. You might get arrested of you go there without special permission.

  a Jewel in the mountains! Amazing views, very nice hike, people there are usually very friendly. one can pick all sorts of mushrooms and herbs,
