It is a very nice place, more like a small 4 room guesthouse then a hostel - villa a bit out of the city center, unfortunately I had pretty bad experience with the owner. When I came the she proposed me a double room for a good price, and I liked it so I stayed for a week. Then I asked for the possiblity to stay up to 2 weeks more as I had some work to do and was told apart form single nights that were booked already - no problem. I made my plans according to that information deciding to buy a flight from Shymkent not Almaty. Then I left for a few days and when I got back it turned out the price for the room was TWICE as before. Also, I was told I will be charged for luggage storage and that it is her business so she has to make money. I understand that it is not charity, but this information should have been told a week earlier before I made all my arrangements. I simply felt cheated and I left this place immediately. My advice would be clarify all possible payments at the beginning with the owner or be prepared to pay more then expected.

Exelent place. Very nice. Also for motorcycle tourists. Safe place for the bikes. Lovely people. Greekstyle.

Stayed in the hostel for a night in February. Extremely cosy and clean, beautifully designed with attention to detail, and a very friendly & caring host. Loved it!
