Wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway in Almaty. Very clean and cosy, tasty breakfast for an extra pay and very helpful and friendly staff.

good hotel, clean room, good size, good pillows. Location is also super tourist friendly: 50m away of a supermarket, 200m from metro, and walking distance of the old city center, including cable car. The staff is really friendly and helpful. Maps are provided also. The only pity is the creepy entrance from the back, dark and like you are using the service stairs, but it is just a detail compared to what this small hotel has to offer.

The best was the nearby Supermarket. Worst was the Noise from the Reception every morning after 3 o`clock.

I stayed here for two weeks on a business trip. It was a little out of the way, but with the directions from on here I found it without too much trouble. The building (from the outside), and the stairway up to the hotel, seems a bit run down, but once you get up to the hotel itself on the third floor, it's bright and cheery. The staff were very friendly and helpful, coordinating with the company who was paying for the visit, and helping organise social events for me (as I don't speak Russian). The wifi was fantastic, fast, low latency (I could play games on European servers with no problems).
