If you know Russian or Kazakh, then it is a good place to shop. There is a lot of bargaining. Otherwise, you are charged double
You can find vegetables with good price than the small shops which are near the apartments.
Nice and relatively cheaper market. You can find many exotic fresh, foods and groceries here.
You can get everything you want here. And about price is that if you are good in bargaining then you can get very good deals here
Nice variety of vegetables and fruits on the first floor, but everything else is mostly not good
I dont say i like it but i dont say i dont either ))
Lots and lots of shops with everything you might need, starting from clothes, equipment and fruits and vegetables. I would suggest to take cash with you as shops there do not accept card payments and atm machines always have a long queue. Beware when buying fruits and check out that they put nice fruits, as you might end up getting one rotted piece inside your pack
Huge multi storey parking. Very big selection of fruits and vegetables at competitive prices. But need to choose carefully. Quality is not always perfect.
Famous for fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and affordable shopping for middle and lower middle class.
One of the best food markets within the Astana city to buy fruits, veggies and greenery at the first floor and home staff at upper floors.
Nice commercial center with lots of spices (among all) al the base floor. Other things (shoes, wears) on the other floors.
A bustling fresh produce bazar under roof could be of interest to the western visitors, but for everybody else it is a noisy crowded place with all sorts of products starting from spices to futurnite and medical services. Not my favorite spot unless i could walk to and from there. The surrounding streest are very narrow and always busy with traffic. Hard to park, hard to depark, a horror movie for a driver. All sorts of beggers and hustlers seem to gather around this place which makes it look dirty and dangerous. Personally feel like the place should be demolished asap because it is ugly and sits right in the middle of the busy route like a blood clot.
Here you will find the freshest produce in Astana at the best prices. Another plus is that you can bargain for everything, including things like jewlery or even produce. Also, local producers of traditional milk products like kurt and kumis sell here in good prices. Highly recommended for everyone but it's very far from the new left bank and bus connection is not good. Try going with a taxi instead.
It can be incredibly busy and the prices are not necessarily much cheaper than easier to navigate supermarkets. Some vendors have a habit of displaying the best fruit but throwing in near rotten fruit and veg if they don't let you choose your own. Hit and miss for vegetables and meat markets are located nearby.
It is nice bazaar of fruits and vegetables. Everything is fresh an cheap. Also the good thing, that it works overnight 24/7
Food is of average quality. You can't take vegetables and fruits you want, sellers put them by yourself.
Akwa kop
The place to find almost anything nearby.
Old style traditional mall (no fashion brands and what you can find anywhere in the world).
Basement food and mobile phones/tech, above almost anything else
