  The men at the cash counters are absolutely racist. As I approached the counter, I wished them in Arabic, to which they didnt respond. And, it took the guy nearly 5 minutes to bill one item and give it to me.. all because he was talking to his friend in Arabic while he should have been concentrating on the job at hand. Meanwhile, another customer joined me at the adjacent counter- the men proceeded to wish her and she got her stuff before I got mine . They even thanked her on her purchase.. which, yes,.. you guessed it ..they didnt thank me, cos I am not Arab. Sadly, I have encountered this attitude many a time with Zara Avenues.. I wonder if other expatriates have had similar encounters at this store.
