NOT FOR BOXING. The only boxing equipment available is a punching bag never been in a boxing gym where you can’t throw a single uppecut. Once upon a time they had speed bags, but they removed them and kept one. They also decided to keep it in the worst possible spot in the gym (dark, crammed corner right next to the water cooler), but it broke in November, and after waiting 2 weeks for it to be “fixed”, I was forced to fix it myself or face the restriction of teaching myself how to box with nothing more than a punching bag. They have been “planning on getting new equipment” since November, and when I inquire about said “new equipment” every month, they never fail to assure me that they’re “planning on getting it”. If you’re looking to learn how to box or kickbox on your own this is definitely not the gym for you. Lastly, I ALMOST LOST AN EYE after warning that the screws on the speed bag platform are loose countless times, and I naively expected them to do something about it. I made the mistake of assuming that the safety of the memebers was of utmost importance to the team, and clearly I was wrong.

P.s. the boxing/ kickboxing equipment they NEED would not cost more than $2000 dollar at most with shipping (equivalent to 6 months membership fee)

The weight machines are very limited, the juice bar is almost never stocked (I had to order my protein shakes with water more than once), the locker rooms are not big enough for a gym that size (2 toilets for a gym that big), poor utilisation of space, classes are cancelled without the schedule being updated on their Instagram account, when classes are cancelled they are almost never filled in by another trainer. Boxing class was cancelled for a week, because the trainer had to undergo surgery, and they didn’t have a substitute. Kickboxing class was cancelled for a week, because the trainer had to travel (no emergency here, they could’ve scheduled for a substitute but simply didn’t bother). CrossFit area is mediocre, not to mention to small for classes with more than 10 people

The gym has its priorities mixed up, they’re more concerned about looking good on instagram and having a DJ come to the gym and blow my eardrums out while I’m trying to train, instead of focusing on what really matters (equipment, feedback from clients, utilising space efficiently, etc.)

Opening hours are sad. (12-6 on weekends, pretty sad)

Management really have a lot to work on, and I sincerely wish them the best of luck. This gym has a lot of potential, and that doesn’t really mean anything unless they do something about it.

Trainers are all great , the spinning studio is nice, and I like the natural lighting in the yoga studio; very aesthetic.

I had a general induction appointment, and been luckily invited to try out the calisthenics class. The place is lovely and clean and spans across two floors full of organized equipment. The coach was genuinely friendly and welcoming. I learned and enjoyed the experience. Looking forward to be a member soon.
