They don't know how to charge. They asked me 2.6 kd for a registered mail but I sent the same in abhu halifa post office with 1 kd. They sent my parcel to Bangladesh instead of Bangalore India. So I strongly recommend to don't use their services.

Very poor management. They do not have proper signage and process. You will end up speaking to so many people and they will direct you everywhere before you are directed to the right person. Collecting item is NIGHTMARE. Please make sure you have all the details such as who called you, when did they call, what's your phone number, tracking number and he will ask repeatedly before actually searching for the item. Parcels are EVERYWHERE, some are on the shelves, cupboards or even in shopping trolleys. I'm sure they can do better. Just invest in proper storage management. It will save you so much time and STRESS. After waiting for so long they will say the person is not around. Come back later. Like we don't have any other better thigs to do. Such a shame.

The worst ever. Even 1 star they don't deserve. People working are damn idiot. Not organized, lazy people. They are closing at 12nn. I visited twice for the damn parcel but still asking me to comeback again the next day. WtH.

After waiting for an hour hot the wrong parcelI returned it back at the same time and then asked for my parcel they had “i don’t know what ur talking look”
No one cares and no one answers to anything u ask..
They should take it seriously about being a government body..
The thing is I have to give one star as minimum otherwise would be in negative ratings

Generally , The post office is not organized. Sorry to tell , the time is from 8 am to 1 pm but staff come at 9 am. There should one person assisting in counter but that person also leave the counter and look for the item. and the rest the same like digging all package.
*you should separate by block/area each package so you can find easily.
and please don't ask them if someone call to take the package because they have the tracking account already stating item is already received there and yet you not want to assist themgod! they pay taxi we pay gasoline/taxi and spend time. the parcel been there 2 weeks in the post office yet you tell not there?????
I suggest put people who know to manage this office, know how to handle this post office procedure. Know how customer service is. and know to value their job properly.

Usless place
Waste of time and effort
Unrealistic working hours and unavailable staff and the ones available are helpless

Update
For the second time i waste one hour and another permission from my work trying to pick my package with no luck
The staff are not coming on time and it seems like an habit for them

Also available staff are not willing to help except people they know and they have no problem whatsoever to dump a full bag of mail on the floor to searching for a single package they want

Im from kuwait and I will say im ashamed of this place ! and i feel sorry for anyone that has to go to it (like i felt sorry for myself today) .. for those who will go soon (feel sorry for u already) be prepared to enter this building and leave without knowing what the hell happend! easily the worse service you can find I was shocked on how badly things are being organized there.. you wont know who actually works and who runs this place.. im just speechless really.. unless u see it urself u wont understand how sad this place is.

Sevice is terrible. When i sent parcel with goods to my country Ukraine, in this post office they even didnt have boxes for parcels, none of the workers speak even basic english, even manager. Department is desorginised.

The place is close to Geant and just in front of the Salmiya Police Station. Easy to be found, the service was fast and there was no need to open your parcel in front of the staff as what others had told me that customs would want you to open the parcels for checking. It was not crowded when I went there so I just waited for few minutes and got my stuff. The place was clean and the Indian staff was very courteous and polite.
