The memorial place and public place to hangout at the heart of the city. Childeren park with fountains makes it attractive spot.

Nice old souq and heritage, Would be great if they clean it up more often! Or probably better if the ppl won’t throw their trash everywhere and use the designated bins to that.

Another fully tranformed area in the city, in the heart of the city, led by the regeneration in the Souq Mubarakiya area. There are permanent restaurants and cafes, and many weekend events are held over there.

Safat square is in the epicenter of the traditional shopping zone in Kuwait. She is surrounded be the Mubarakia souk (market) which houses the “Eat street”, the fish market, women’s market, vegetable market, meat market, main gold market, electronics showrooms and apparels market. The Safat square zone is always very busy and bustling with shoppers.

Unfortunately, and for unknown reasons .. Safat Square is now secured with a new fence .. but it was open before for everybody to visit and enjoy during the year seasons as an open grean watering area.
