  Love love love this salon concept so much that I visited twice while visiting Kuwait. They have such great customer service and alot of talented hairstylist to choose from!

  Unacceptable !!! They called my hair difficult, did not wash and condition properly and attempted to blow dry my hair without heat protector and/or moisturiser. Claims to cater to black hair but clearly does not, wouldn't recommend at all. I left with wet hair.

  The girl they have cant braid straight. I asked for her to braid my hair into a ponytail and it wasnt straight and the hair was going in a bunch of different directions. Then she had an attitude when I told her to take it out. Had to go find another salon. Disappointed wont go back.

  I am PARTICULAR about my hair. If you want something simple (as a WoC), like to take down braids, put in braids, wash, blow dry and flat iron. This is the place. The prices are extremely reasonable. (I'm speaking solely about the Fintas branch because the Salmiya branch is much higher rated to me.) The ambience here leaves so much to be desired. My freshly washed hair smelled like cigarettes because the customer next to me just causally lit one up (who cares about second hand smoke?!). The other thing that annoyed me was that when I was describing the style I wanted to the stylist, she said she couldn't do it. I'm not used to that. Usually, they'll ask for a YouTube video and give it a shot before saying straight up that they can't. So, in conclusion, I wouldn't trust this particular branch with a sew in (unless you're from this region - they do a creditable job with local hair types and their extensions) or crochet braids- things that may require some imagination to be perfect I wouldn't do here. But anything that is hard to mess up like micros or box braids is a go! It is VERY affordable, and the staff have good manners. The smoking, shabbily painted walls, and unwillingness of the stylist to try something new led to 2 starts. Plus I left there looking like Madeline Albright because chick gave me an old lady flat iron job - but it was well ironed, just not well styled.
