Great place for a family picnic or for couples 🙂. Very lively and occasionally has great lighting. On a good day you can enjoy the beautiful weather on the beach. You can find their spectacular cuisines during the day available for you to enjoy 😋.
The Kuwait Towers, with their distinctive blue-green ‘sequins’, are the instantly recognisable symbols of the nation. Designed by a Swedish architectural firm, they opened in 1979. The largest of the three rises to a height of 187m. Guests can visit a gift shop, viewing platform and an international buffet restaurant. The standard ticket price includes entry to the 360-degree viewing deck at 120m. The entry fee is waived if you eat at the restaurant, offering views at 82m.
This place is amazing for tourist and local people. It's really clean from the inside and spacious. The views are beautiful and can capture fantastic pictures. The food there is really tasty too. One must visit the tower if they're in Kuwait.
After pandemic visit.. no lighting crowded as usual..
We love the Kuwait Towers & its downtown. My whole Kuwait experience has been nothing short of interesting and full of unexpected adventures. Simple, beautiful and generous Kuwaiti men and women are everywhere, and truly put together a sweet little country with a rich culture, a big heart, big present and future. Continue planting and building Kuwait.
Lovely place, the viewing sphere is a great experience. You can see Kuwait skyline for miles. It's a revolving sphere with a snack bar and viewing telescopes. 500 fils a coin for the telescope. Also if u go to the restaurant, then entry to the viewing sphere level is included in the restaurant buffet price. The breakfast buffet has a wonderful and varied spread. Great to go experience it once, at least
Very Nice Restaurant to visit.
I feel that breakfast time is comfortable.price is above average.
Very nice view if you go to the highest floor levels.
The Kuwait Towers delightfully suggest a combination of traditional Islamic design and modern architectural themes, with comparisons being made to blue-tiled mosques and slender minarets of Samarkand and Bukhara. The easy visibility and popularity of the towers with photographers is also due to the fact that there are no other high rise buildings in the general area of the Kuwait Towers. Ever since the official inauguration of the towers, they have come to signify the prosperity and opulence that has boosted this previously sleepy backwater country into the world’s tenth richest country per capita.
Beautiful towers that are spectacular at night. The view from the rotating observation deck is very nice, unfortunately, the windows are in bad need of repair and so is hard to get good photographs from up there.
The gift shop is quite underwhelming with the same merchandise being repeated throughout the shop.
Definitely worth a visit.
Please click the thumbs up of you liked the review.
Spent a great afternoon dining in the horizon restaurant. The lunch buffet had a great variety of food from worldwide cuisines. The ambiance of the restaurant is quite and chill after enjoying your meal you can use the restaurant receipt to go to the top of the tower where you can view the city of Kuwait along with the coast in a revolving ground a coffee shop and standing tables.
When you go there, keep in mind what year this was built. And how they survived the invasion. These towers symbolized (and still do) Kuwaiti power of will. I would definitely recommend visiting if you are Kuwaiti or not. Also, the restaurant is great because it’s international.
Was always a dream to get in those towers.. I think the renovation took almost 10 years. but its really nice and it has a wonderful restaurant at the top. Recommended
It is a magnificent feeling to be under these historic landmarks of our beloved country Kuwait. May God bless this country and protect it. Lovely people very well educated, and easy going. On my recent visit I noticed a big development is taking a place in Kuwait and I loved the roads & highways networks, since it was my first time to drive in Kuwait i guess, i loved driving in Kuwait though, people are very respectful to the speed limits and traffic law.
Kuwait Towers is a group of three slender towers in Kuwait City, standing on a promontory into the Persian Gulf. They were officially inaugurated on 26 February 1977 and are rated as a landmark and symbol of modern Kuwait.
The main tower is 187 meters high and carries two spheres. The lower sphere holds in its bottom half a water tank of 4,500 cubic meters and in its upper half a restaurant for 90 persons, a café, a lounge and a reception hall. The upper sphere which rises to 123 meters above the sea level and completes a full turn every 30 minutes.
The second tower is 147 meters high and serves as a water tower. The third tower houses equipment to control the flow of electricity and illuminates the two larger towers. The towers hold 9,000 cubic meters of water altogether.
Beutiful place, Kuwait Towers is a landmark of Kuwait - renovated recently excellent place to sit and read and drink your coffee in the cafe. It also has a nice resturant.
Good place to check out if you are visiting Kuwait
Call ahead to check if it's open or not, place is usually under construction or some maintenance scheduling
Excellent place in Kuwait city. Everyone should visit this place. City view from the tower is excellent.
Probably the most famous landmark in Kuwait. It commands 360 degrees views of Kuwait city and surrounding. The restaurant serves good quality food with lots of varieties on offer. The observatory on top turns so don't feel surprised if you get a bit dizzy.
The place is good. Not to much of view. But should definitely be on ur list if u visit Kuwait. These towers will be there in your memories if you hear Kuwait in future
An iconic land mark. With a rotating restaurant and an exploration dome. Great views over Kuwait city and its suburbs.
A must visit if you go to Kuwait. The tower is enclosed and air conditioned. There's a great view of the city and the restaurant is very nice, but a little pricey.
Great view 360 degrees, some of the windows were dirty, but I'm not sure if it's possible to clean them, a difficult task. The fee is extremely reasonable, compared to observation decks elsewhere. The temperature was very good due to the AC. Not a big crowd today (Sunday)at approximately 1630.
Great place to visit in Kuwait. Colourful lights and the lift to take up top of the tower. Its almost 120 metres. Rotating viewing glass centre. You can see almost all the Kuwait from above.
Iconic landmark of Kuwait, 360 degree of viewing the city. 3 KD good price for memorable visit. You can have cup of coffee at the viewing sphere (120 m.) or have a good meal at The Horizon Restaurant (86 m.). One visit will be very enough.
iconic symbol for kuwait. located near the sea side beside road no 25. a nice sea beach near by just added value to this place.
Kuwait towers is the most known symbol of Kuwait. Not a bad view. It has a restaurant that rotates allowing a change of view. It was a very good place to go to in the seventies and eighties of the last century.
There is an observatory on the 120 floor. It was special that the floor is slowly rotated. The circular figure resembles a mermaid scale. However, it was disappointing that the glass window was not clean enough to see the scenery.
It is a landmark attraction of Kuwait, so it is worth visiting
It's amazing to see the towers, especially at night when it gets lighted, u will love to spend hours seeing it.. one of my favourite place in Kuwait.. which I visit frequently
I visited Kuwait Towers last week and must say it has its own charm. They may not be so tall but combined three towers of different styles add to beauty of it. It is best to go about 30 mins before the sunset time to enjoy city and tower views. Do visit if you happen to be in Kuwait City.
