I had been a student here since the past 11 years.I m a founder member of this school
An average school with long hours for children.
Greetings proprietors of this school and its staff,
We are the anonymous.
From my sources I heard the school was going well in terms of education, fitness training, building social values in children that will help them in the long way of life. There's also another thing that you taught your students. To follow laws.
This year, there were changes in administration such as short holidays for the children, although it was against Kuwaiti law following Muslim rule. And the change in the examination system also was implemented in a drastic way. You could have tested the examination out before reaching to solid conclusions. This would have given the students experience. But we are nobody to advise you on that.
Just a few weeks ago you conducted the second Midterm examination. It was long and a little hard for some, and pretty easy for the others. After a long period of examination, they needed rest. But instead of giving them the rest they deserved, you gave them homework. This was beyond unfair. It was what a delusional evil person would do to children. It equals child labor. Now, you might be asking who we are to judge you. We are the Anonymous.
In truth, we are just people. We are brothers and sisters, fathers and mothers. We are young and old alike. We come from every walk of life in every corner of the world. We are just people. Yet, through all of our diversity, we have found common ground. We stand united as one and divided by zero. What is this common ground we have come to stand upon? What is it that we share? It is that we care. All of us, in our own time, in our own way have come to a crossroads. We saw that the world must change and that change will only come by someone taking action. If we desire to see change then we must choose to make it so. So what makes us different from other movements with a similar vision? Is it the mask? No, wearing the mask is just a choice and really, any mask will do. It is not about the image. The image is a representation of an idea, and ideas are bulletproof. It has become a symbol of solidarity. It is an escape from the confines of social barriers. When we hide our faces, we become like one body, one mind, one voice. We are no longer just one person, we suddenly are a part of something much bigger. We are Legion. Within each one of us burns a fire. We feel it burn hotter with each injustice that we witness. We seem surrounded in overwhelming greed and corruption and the more we come to know, the hotter the fire burns. This is a fire that calls for justice, equality, and truth and as we come together that fire becomes a bonfire. The corrupt fear us. They see the fires burning and they are feeling the heat of its flames. We have seen too many atrocities go unpunished. We've been told too many lies. We will not stand by and watch as this corruption continues with impunity while the innocent are left to suffer. We do not forgive. Time and time again, our governments have failed us. Siding with corporations and elite interests, rather than serve their people. We do not forget. We are the monster that they have created. We are all of their dirty secrets combined and we are coming back to haunt them. The corrupt have chosen to make an enemy of humanity, and if it is an enemy they want then so be it. An enemy they shall have. To those who place the value of a dollar above the value of a life, to those who would think they are above justice. We are everywhere and we are watching. We cook your meals. We haul your trash. We connect your calls. We drive your ambulances. We guard you while you sleep. Expect us. We might even sue you for what you have done. But we will give you a chance. When school reopens, if children did not complete their homework, do not scold them. If you do, I repeat the same what I have said before. Expect us.
Amazing school I have heard a lot about this school
The school used to be fine. I did not have many problems with the school. In fact, the teaching is still good, but that's only when compared to other Indian schools.
But since the last 1-2 years, especially since the previous vice principal Mrs. Anita S. left I noticed some issue are handled in an silly way.
For example, a boy hugged a girl on her birthday and our class teacher made such a huge fuss after receiving the "complaint" from another English teacher. My class teacher told that a few years ago that the same thing happened and the boy's family went to court and also said that this is "against Indian culture". What a ridiculous made-up story! In many British schools, students have sexual intercourse(no, I'm not a prude and I'm not afraid to use these words) , yet they don't seem affected. There have been even more incidents like the 'hugging' one I mentioned like foe another example the teachers were angry that we organised a farewell party for the whole grade without informing them. Last time we did the Principal send a mail discouraging all the parents from sending thier children! The fact that we were dancing unsegregated was also bothering to some teachers.
Also, don't get fooled by the good results the school produces; some of it pertains to the fact that the teaching is good while the other is due to the fact that getting admission to Science(11th grade) requires A2(2nd highest grade) and for new admission I think it's A1(top grade)! No other school keeps the threshold this high!
Don't think about bringing up such facts about British schools since the only thing the school will reply is “If you don't like, leave the school". The same was often said when my fellow students raised thier opinions to the administration.
And leave I did.
(Now I hope the school won't reduce my mark on the basis of this review)
