Traditional local cafe shop. The entrance is through a shop so might be tricky to see at first.

They serve coffee and sweets. The prices are typical Kuwait or a little bit higher. The local is frequented by women and their families during the day.

The food is absolutely delicious. Their pastries are on point. Some of the best I've tasted in Kuwait. My recommendation is to definitely try the pistachio rose cake, the toffee date cake and the pecan pie. My personal favourites. I have to have atleast one of the 3 anytime I visit :P
Also the interiors are very comfy so it's a challenge to leave Bait Ahmed once you get comfortable :P

The decoration is just amazing, you can take good photos. It is clean, the staff is nice and really friendly. However, I found the prices expensive compared to the quantity, but the taste is authentic and rich.

I visited Bait Ahmed, found a table and got seated. The manager said their closing time is after 30 minutes and suggested that I leave!

Nice place to sit and relax. Have old fashion tea with home made sweets and enjoy the old music and songs. Fantastic experience in the old souk of Mubarakia in Kuwait.

This quaint little cafe offers the best selection of pastries, teas and Arabic cuisine. Coupled with the warm, cozy ambience and it's traditional interiors this is THE best place to unwind and relax.

In addition, the place has the best customer service and true to its name 'House of Ahmed' you're treated like a guest at home.

Do not miss out on their pistachio rose cake, pecan tart and the toffee date cake. You will not be disappointed. And do try their chai maramiya as well. It is the best I've tried to date.

Voilà un endroit typique. Bravo, excellent accueil, "pecan pie" au top, ambiance koweïtienne au milieu d'antiquités. Moment agréable au calme. Merci, ça fait du bien!
