A natural ridge 30-50 meters in height to the north of Kuwait bay extending in a South westerly direction. Includes a natural reserve but is also an open camping area which is misused by locals during spring (Jan to March camping season). During spring seasonal shrubby vegetation covers the area. This quickly disappears as the heat of summer increases. Small animals, foxes and dogs, jerboa (desert rats) and then (spiny tailed lizards) survive the summer. One of the best desert region of Kuwait if it wasn't for the unsightly human generated, left over garbage. Certainly worth a visit. Please don't camp or disturb the habitat. Take home your garbage.
