One of the biggest department stores I've been into so far in Korea and it doesn't disappoint. The interior is very clean and up kept with many of the store workers cleaning their areas on a near hourly basis. Most speak English to help you buy what you need. The food stores in this places is awesome. If you cant read Korean (like me) then google translate comes in very handy here. Although being Japanese, I kind of know what is what in some places and basically take a picture of what I want and show it to the cook/staff. This is the easiest way I can order food, besides speaking Korean.
I warn you that this place is expensive at times. The food is decently priced but the store upstairs is mostly fancy items ($$)
I spent about half the day just wondering around in there finding that they had a Samsung Lions (Baseball team) team store that sold jerseys and merchandise, an Aquarium on the top level (Haven't been in there), and lots of rides and video arcade games for the children.
This place is very Kid friendly and even has an outdoor section on the roof just for kids to play. Has a small train track section too.
Amazing food court. Huge selection of high end and midrange shops. The aquarium is not worth the cost.
Very polite and friendly service staff. Not pushy sales at all. Great shopping experience. Their Christmas Bears are adorable!
Very nice place food Only problem is elevater are SUPER BUSY on the weekend. It is very HARD for push strollers. So many young couples and regular people use elevater and forced stroller people waiting too long. Last time we were waiting for ONE N HALF HOUR!!!
The best department store in daegu. It has everything you can think of
Great place with a huge amount of variety. Very family friendly. The Kakao Friends store and the toy store is worth a visit!
Very busy place. You can find all the top brands. The stores are varied and I like the produce section. 8th floor is nothing but restaurants, there is an aquarium on the 9th floor.
Very luxurious. Great shopping and dining. Great way to spend the day.
Biggest department store in Daegu. It's basically a super nice, really high end shopping mall. Amazing food court!
It's huge. A lot of foreign brands. Great food.
The mall has just about everything you can think of. From shopping to an aquarium. One amazing experience I'll never forget.
One of the most largest department stores in South Korea. Great accessibility (ten min. drive from airport, next to bus terminal and railroad station)
It's almost too big. You might get lost. But overall great food and great shopping. Easy to get too. Ample parking but often still hard to find a place to park.
The best department store and mall hybrid within 100km. It certainly beats the pants off Hyundai and Daebaek department stores near downtown. People go into it and marvel at the sheer size and things on offer to buy, eat and see.
It only loses a star because there's a very long walk to the other down pair of escalators on the 4th floor.
Pluses:
- food court. something for everyone
- ample parking
- neat underground tunnel to Beomeo intersection
- best Megabox cinema I've ever been to
- impressive cosmetics section
- Paul Bassett, Starbucks Reserve and Teavana all in one building plus others that do coffee.
Minuses
- missing some major luxury brands
- staff poor on duty free shopping forms and guidelines
- terrible okonomiyaki. too doughy and raw inside.
- ddeokbokki portions are too much for one person. need to sell 2000 won portions for singles. no one wants to pay 16,000 won for odaeng, ddeokbokki and soondae
- inadequate food court seating on weekends
