One of the memorable part was watching staff feeding a bunch of lions by throwing some chicken meat (this happens only a couple of times a day at certain times, so I recommend checking that first if you want to watch it) Took my Canadian husband here, he absolutely loved it having never been to such a big zoo with a variety of animals. It takes a good 2-3 hours to see the entire place. The entrance fee is very small.

Very good atmosphere for relaxing and getting fresh air with your whole family. I advise to use public transportation instead of driving car, believe me, public transportation in Seoul works very efficiently and reaches every point.

I used line 4 train from Hoehyeon to come here.
Very cheap fare for 11 stations.
From Seoul Grand Park station you have to walk about 300m to the ticket zone.
Here you can buy the Elephant Train ticket for 1000 won to the zoo entrance. Or you have to walk 950m to reach it. Many people prefer to walk.
Add-on tickets are sold here eg cable car.
At the entrance you buy the zoo ticket for 5000 won.
    The zoo is spacious.
However the avian part is closed.
There are many parts that are closed either for renovation or there is no animal there.
Most animals are placed in cages or glass rooms and as such you cannot see the animals' natural capability eg orang utan.
For safety reasons there are many glass panel erected around here eg lion area.
All the above makes photography difficult or futile.
I think the best zoos are in Malaysia and Indonesia.
The good aspect abt this zoo is that there are many food stalls, zoo bus and many toilets.
There are significant shady seats too.
In this zoo there is a Botanical Park.

Very big zoo with lots of great views of animals and nice botanical gardens. Take chair lift up to start from top or walk up from zoo entrance and take lift down. I suggest the latter.

A great place to walk around. I have been here on many picnics and it is great to sit near the lake. You can also go to the Zoo. One of my favorite art museums are here; the MMCA. It is great to come here with your family or go on a date here.

For something called 'Seoul Grand Park' it seems like there should be more to it - a center of the city, community gathering and play and exercise space - that cities like New York have with Central Park.

This park is way out of the city, and is mainly notable for the attractions it has in it: the big zoo, a children's zoo, an art museum, an amusement park, an indoor children's play area, and gondolas that take you over the lake and to the zoo. There are also trails around the valley, and it is quite beautiful. In the end, it is more of a destination park than a lifestyle park, but definitely worth a visit.

Composed of a zoo, theme park and garden If your into hiking or outdoors activities, this is a nice place If you just want to hangout and relax, it has many picnic areas. If your on the budget, not going to any of the attractions is free. The only expense you will have is transportation costs which is cheap. It has a big lake in the middle with nice views Also has two ski lifts
