Excellent friendly service every time. Many of the staff speak English or if they dont they will find someone who does or use their smartphones to translate. I'm very pleased with the selection as well

THE book store in Seoul. Sure, there are other bookstores. But Kyobo is where it's at. Wide selection of everything from books, magazines, music, games, you name it. And a very good English language section.

Our most favorite book store for more than 30 years. It is getting better and better. You can find all kinds of books including those written in English and other languages.

This place is really insane for a book store. So busy and crowded. If you just want to buy a book and leave it's great but if you are trying to browse and relax this is not the place for you. Also has a decent food court.

Great bookstore with a big selection of foreign books of different genres. Also there is a big selection of Korean langauge books for learners. In here you will also find a wide selection of electronics and stationary items. Books, cds, dvds, notepads, pens, portable harddrives, cute stickers and more.

A fantastic book store with a huge selection.

This is a more than competent English language book store as well, and English speakers will be able to find almost anything. They have a wide variety of English language books, ranging from philosophy to business, as well as hundreds of books for learning Korean. (I came for the Talk to Me in Korean grammar books, of which they had all five in stock). They also had a vast selection of quick explainer books — indeed, more than I have ever seen in the United States.

Staff let me browse in peace and actively restocked books. I was able to check out quickly and easily.

There is an even an art space in the middle of the store.

One of the best bookstore in Seoul. You can see bestseller books and read some books inside. There are chairs and tables for visitors for them to read books in free of charge. Good book store =)

Largest bookstore in Korea. Maybe all kinds of books published in the world. Everybody can read a book you want to read there with no buy. Small cafe in there. and more restroom is clean and tidy and open to everybody.

This is one of the must-go-to places every time I visit Korea. Kyobo at Kwanghwamun has the best range of books in Seoul. They also have quite tasty 'food court' if you get hungry during shopping.

Perhaps the largest book store in Seoul - it does have an excellent English language section but of course you'll find the prices to be a bit higher than what you might find back home. In addition to books there are a number of gift shops of all kinds, as well as stationary and gadget stores. This place is popular so expect crowds at pretty much any time of day.
