  한적하고 조용합니다. 운동장이 있어 공놀이 등도 할 수 있고 강당에서는 가끔 섹소폰공연도 이루어지며 SBS 에서 '불타는 청춘' 전남 구례편 일부(40분 방영)분을 촬영한 곳이기도 합니다.

  폐교를 이용한 캠핑장으로 아이들이 놀만한 놀이터도 있고,
  폭포와 계곡이 인접해있어 시원하고 좋습니다.
