Great short hiking trail during Autumn..Probably take about 3 hrs up n down. A very popular place for local to hike..A bit challenging while about to reach the peak but not major problem..Just a bit of climbing needed..Rope n foot rest located at strategic places to help u climb..Enjoy my hike.. Peaceful Day with Nature @ Seoul..

After Bukhansan, Gwanaksan offer best hiking course in Seoul. Hiking trails are easily accessed by public transportation. Mountain area will add extra beauty during Spring blossom and autumn foliage.

Had a great hike here in Autumn. Was told that the trail can be wet in October, but when we went it was great. The trail is accessible by train stop at gwacheon and offers a stop at a Buddhist mountain temple and a 360 panoramic view of Seoul. The fall colors were also gorgeous.
Can be tough to find a clear day. The trail was also very well maintained. I would rate the hike up as moderate, primarily because the hike has a consistent moderate grade. Roughly 500m over the course of 2.5km.response / report this review
