Not very big, but well laid out. Seems a bit pricey at 28000. My 18 month old son enjoyed it.

First Aquarium I visited in Seoul.
As always is a place perfect for families, schools and group of friends.
There are a lot of species of marine creatures.
There are african penguins, the most loved by visitors.
There is a big shop where visitors can buy plushies, accessories and many cute things after they finish the tour of the whole Aquarium.response / report this review -

Nice aquarium with a variety of fish and nice displays. One of the displays allow you to touch some of the fish and have creative displays. A bit pricey but my children enjoyed it. The mall is nice and the plus was the food trucks outside the mall at the end of the day.

Very large aquarium with different and unique concepts for displays. I've been to a few including the Mall of America and this one beats it in my opinion. Only thing I would had like more was more animals that we can touch and signs or arrows on the upper level that helped direct us to where it was (underground shopping mall has directions and arrows posted). Other than that, it was totally worth it.

Great place to take the family for an afternoon. Season passes are a bit pricey, but worth the investment if you plan to visit 3+ times. The shark exhibit is a great place to sit and relax.

The aquarium itself is inside the mall and can be easily find using the navigation screens around the mall. It contains a lot of fish species as well as mammals and amphibians. I really liked the performance done by the diver. The tour can be finished in about 45 minutes to an hour and its great to bring kids there.

Coex Aquarium is a wonderful place to be with your family. The aquarium presents a humongous variety of aquatic life, organized methodically into well-thought categories. Fish hued with unquantifiable range of spectral colors stamp the authority of nature's artistic mastery. Aquatic mammals instantly become Blue Eyed favourites of young kids. Amazonian jungles find themselves reincarnated in one of the sub-arenas. To top it all, there are hourly shows featuring live underwater performances of professional divers with Fish, Seals, Eels and what not. Staff is forthcoming and fluent in English language. The under-sea voyage terminates at an economical Souvenir Shop enabling eternity to visitors' memories.
The ticket is around $25 but if you are on budget there are ways to get discounts; got mine through Naver website 🤗response / report this review -

There were some animals that caught me by surprise, such as prairie dogs and manatees. The first few rooms have small Korean fish with less wow-factor, but keep treading on you won't be disappointed.

Manetees are beautiful and funny (specially while eaing cabbage haha). The sharks are amazing! Its nice inside, including the part where fishes are living in a sink, phone cabin, bed etc.. but some of the fishes cant be happy in those weird "aquariums".. that orange fish in "drinking water dispenser" was not swimming but lying on the floor of her plastic bottle aquarium. Is she alright??
I dont like the part where children can "touch" sea animals. Eventho the sign says 'dont take animals out of the aquarium', what I saw was a little boy grabbing an animal, taking it out of water and smashing it in his hands, (then dropping it back ..and reaching for another one),I was shocked. There should definitely be somebody supervising !!!

Another must see if you have time while you're in Seoul. Very up-to-date and interactive Aquarium! Membership for a year compared to one visit is usually the better deal if you plan on going more than wants. I enjoyed going with A 4 year old and I think I had just as much fun if not more. My favorite is the indoor theater area with stadium seating that you can just sit and watch the Sharks and Stingrays and fish swim through!
