Very cheap (11,000₩ for a dorm bed - approx $9usd). Warm rooms. Very comfy beds. Super close walking distance across to ski slope. Friendly staff. Free laundry machine. It would have gotten 5 stars apart from 1. The huge kitchen is great apart from zero cookers or plates or cutlery is provided u are supposed to travel with your own! Crazy 2. They dont take reservations, its potluck if u show up and beds available. During weekdays this is easy. Weekends forget about it. So u are potentially going to be stuck with no bed and have to pay $300usd at the 5 star hotel opposite or try and get back to seoul if u arrived early enough and lucky that buses are still running. My friend arrived Saturday, no bed available and spent hours by taxi etc around nearby town eventually finding at 1am a sauna with a floor to sleep on.

The hostel is good but should be much better organized and run better.
