  1978년 최초로 지방캠퍼스를 세운 대학으로 4계절 아름다운 캠퍼스로 유명하다. 안서호와 조화를 이루면서 봄에는 벚꽃, 영산홍 등 꽃으로 여름엔 초록이 물든 숲으로, 가을엔 오색 단풍, 겨울엔 설경으로 인기가 대단하다. 특히 4월 말과 5월 초에 붉게 물든 영산홍이 최고로 아름답다.
