건물은 옛날식이지만 주차장 넓고 주인아저씨가 정말 친절함

Месторасположение очень хорошее! Находится сразу за автостанцией, куда прибывает автобус с Сеула. Рядом есть киоск с туристической информацией, где нам объяснили как доехать в необходимые нам места и дали карту Сокчо на русском. Автобус до Сораксана останавливается в 3-5 минутах ходьбы от отеля. Пляж красивый недалеко! Сам отель большой и тихий,староват - видно что ремонт делали очень давно. Номер на 8 этаже уютный, аккуратный, окно большое и вид неплохой. Ванная комната достойная. В общем номер оставил хорошее впечатление! На длительный срок проживания подойдет. Недалеко еще большой супермаркет E-mart, где продают продукты и непродовольственные товары, одежду.
Женщина на ресепшене по английски не говорит, но это и нестрашно, мы только при заезде и выезде с ней пересеклись.
Совет по выбору номера: Выбирайте номер на последнем 8-ом этаже, там окна большие! и общий коридор с панорамным видомresponse / report this review -

The Rocustel was and is our best choice. The Rooms in this Motel are clean and the Staff are friendly. The price is genius. When you are in Sokcho, go to this Motel.

속초 터미널 바로 옆에 위치. 성수기 숙박요금 폭등중일때 호텔스닷컴에서 설악산쪽 숙소 제외하고는 가장 저렴했음. 포켓몬고 체육관으로 지정되어 있어 쉬면서 대전하기 좋고, 주변에 포켓스탑도 많음

The location is amazing, which is behind the Sokcho Express Bus Terminal.
In fact, we saw Rocustel first instead of the bus terminal! It's so hard to miss Rocustel.
It's amazing we can access from the front entrance and the back entrance.

My friend and I arrived in the evening (16.10.2015), and didn't come together with the friends who booked another room. The ahjumma (we believe she is the owner's mom) was very understanding. We rested for a while and went down to go to Seoraksan National Park.
We asked her the direction of the bus stop, and she was so kind to go in front of Rocustel to tell us the direction. She doesn't know how to speak English but ahjumma really tried her best by doing gestures. We are deeply touched by that!
After went back to Rocustel, our friends have not arrived. Ahjumma asked us about them, and even told us to go to our room and ask our friends' whereabout. (Our friends arrived shortly after)

We booked two Korean-Style Twin Room, and even our rooms don't feel the same! (Which is amazing!). I had a great time in both rooms.
When my friend placed our booking, she requested a high-level rooms. Which we got! The view is amazing and we are very happy!
The facilities are great and we are so delighted by it!
We are amazed at how big the room is. It is a room for 2 people but it can fit perfectly for 4 people! And I think the beddings and pillows provided is really comfortable!
There is a router in every room so Internet is super fast! =D
The huge flat-screen TV in the room worked perfectly! The quality is superb, and rich in colours too. We had so much fun watching Korean dramas that night!
There is a bathroom attached but with another different door in between. I really love how we don't have to share bathroom with others Too bad I didn't have the chance to use the bath tub provided, but I bet it would be great, to get some warm water to sooth the pain after hiking.
We booked and had almost 25% discount at that time so we definitely think the stay is so worth it with the rate we are paying!

The next day we checked out early to go to Seoraksan National Park again. We couldn't help it as the place is really beautiful during peak autumn!
They let us put our bag there for a while, and another additional time because we wanted to go to Abai Village.
It's the owner this time and he was really kind showing us the route to go there. (Because we wanted to walk, which is quite a few KM).

Although it was only for one night, we really had a good time in Rocustel and definitely want to visit here again! Thank you so much for the kindness shown, it definitely made our trip to Korea better than it is!
