Single best choice for your Christmas cake pick up (They have cake boutique right next to the original shop. Be sure to check them both). Totally worth the trip from Seoul to Daejeon just to get a bag full of delight.

They have any kinds of bread, but the price is a little bit expensive. It's better to visit here if you have remaining time in Daejeon.

Probably the most famous and successful bakery in Daejeon. Once I got my french friend to the place and he was totally amazed. Totally recommended!

A really fancy bakery, yet suited for the 'commoners'; their bread is tasteful and more importantly, a big part of Daejeon's culture. MUST visit the HQ if visiting this city, which may seem like it is less of a tourist city.

Bunch of unique and delicious breads are available. They even got deep fried rice rolls and I found them awesome. Definitely one of the best bakery in Daejeon. It is really crowded during the peak times but you can shop your breads quite smoothly thanks to the employees' high-level crowd control.

They have several locations nearby, one specifically for deserts. This one has a bakery downstairs and cafe upstairs. Both down and upstairs are good. I plan on returning the next time I am in the area. I had the chicken curry omelet which oddly had ketchup in it, a caffe latte which had a good taste despite the machine slightly burning the milk, and a few bakes items from downstairs (I won't get the croquetts again).

A pretty famous place in Daejeon but really it seems to be famous for being famous. The bakery items are generally good, but honestly things are not that much different, or better, than most other bakeries here. There will be crowds at times especially on the weekends.
