This was one of the most spiritual experiences of my life. I felt so at peace.

    Chilgol Church

Chilgol Church is one of the two Protestantchurches in North Korea and is located on Kwangbok Street, Kwangbok in west Pyongyang.[1] It is dedicated to Kang Pan-sok, who was a Presbyterian deaconess and the mother of Kim Il-sung.[2]

You think you know God, you filthy American? Well, you haven't experienced God until you've experienced him here, at what is often called "The Holiest Place in all the Lands!" Wow. What you may know is that God is very important, but what you may not know, is how unimportant he is in comparison to Kim Jung Un. This church is in possession of an ancient scroll that tells the story of a time when God and Kim Jung Un played golfing and Kim Jung Un stole God's power amulet. And now he has it forever and ever! God is an empty, faded vessel living on borrowed time. Kim Jung Un is only the best forever and ever!

As an Atheist, I quite liked this place, because it was the FIRST church I'd EVER been to that didn't worship a God. I mean they did worshiped their great leader so it wasn't perfect, but hey it's a step in the right direction!

They only let me pray once I said I was Canadian. I did get to slip my Trump2016 sticker onto the back of one of the pews though, so it wasn't all that bad. Priest piss was refreshing as well 5/10, would go back.

Church was mostly extolling Kim as being god, when everyone knows he is only a saint! The forced march to the mines was a great way to get some exercise however. The church seems to sit on top of some type of nuclear weapons facility, and I was glowing with radiation for weeks. Luckily the choir was executed during the service, which made for some awesome pictures.

Can't for the life of me figure out why Jesus isn't portrayed as having a hair cut like Great Leader's.
