Very nice hotel. I compliment the execution across the street. I saw a tiny fat chubby man in the lobby he told me to call him father jong un and make him my leader. But I told him I was from the us of a and he told me he will kill Donald Trump in the next year. He also claimed he is not done with these countries: USA, South Korea, and Russia. He is going to nuke us in 1 year

It was really amazing! I had a great three course meal, including: a potato chip course, followed by a soup course (or maybe that was a finger bowl) and then a green bean course. My green bean was delicious - crunchy and nutritious. The rooms are reasonably clean and you don't have to worry about noisy neighbors because the rooms next to each guestroom are filled with listening gear. The cameras in the bathroom were a little funky, but I covered the ones I could see with a towel. Most of the windows in my room had been installed and the ones that were missing let out the fumes that came in from the hallway. The cot to which they assigned me was pretty comfortable and my room even included a chair. I had a great view of Pyongyang from the second floor (I don't think they have any rooms above the 2nd), from which I could see most of the People's Revolutionary Fish Sauce and Athletic Shoe Factory. I will be leaving tomorrow (I think) and my stay there will be long remembered.

The community toilet was about like the ones at the grocery store . My only problem was the toilet paper vending machine took my money I had to use my socks.
The Buffett was ok if you like dirty rice with hot sauce.
Recommend take toilet paper and sardines

I am the very first person to ever visit this hotel after it opens. I gotta say. What is inside is astonishing. It's so unique. I never seen anything like this in a hotel before. It wasn't what I expected when looking at the glass exterior of the building. It was actually better. Everything in this building was made out of concrete. No beds. No toilets. No cafeteria. No electricity. No water. No entertainment. No nothing. I wasn't able to sleep on the rock hard floors. This is a hotel for the hardcore people. A nice place to torture their prisoners. Probably make this hotel another prison camp. for it's criminals and defectors. Had to use the stairs because it's elevators are not yet installed. Trust me it's harder than you think.

Wow... where do I begin. I had a gorgeous 3 course meal (See image provided) which consisted of the classic North Korean dish of 'Nothing'. I watched as people bowed to a statue of a rather fat man who I could only assume was Korean Santa or something. The Holiday camps were to be locked up and starved for! The People seemed very nice, never letting a smile leave their faces. They also have many rusty bikes meaning they love the environment. I saw decomposing corpse in that glass box that people were talking about. Perhaps if it had a Rollercoaster I would have enjoyed it. I finished the trip with a firework display which accidentally crashed into a city. It resembled a mushroom of some kind which is really cool! The people then emerged from the show dressed in very well made Zombie costumes, screaming in pain and it wasn't even Halloween. Maybe it was a different North Korean holiday. 10/10 would go again. Unfortunately I can't leave.

Just looking at the faces of the people working in this bastion of architectural doom and you know - instinctively - that this is where fun and joy go to die.

But not before the celebratory lobby operas start playing in the dining room just before sunset. Kim Jong-un has decreed that there be a different opera for each day of the week celebrating his sexual relations with his mother KimKo Yong-hui. A fascinating bit of contemporary history is that when the washed-out American athlete Dennis Rodman visited the country a few years back it was said (though never proven) that he (supposedly) insisted on watching Kim Jong-un do the 'freaky thing' with his mother right in the middle of the buffet table which at the time was packed with tourists chomping on their all-you-can-eat dishes of rat and stewed cat. The tourists - noting the small size of the great leader's 'manhood' immediately broke into peels of laughter which infuriated the the 'little guy' and sent him into a missile launching rage which continues to this day. No word yet on whether Dennis Rodman was able to get in on some of the sexual action with Kim Jong-un's mother before the bus boys swept her off the table along with the rest of the trash.

I gave this hotel 3 stars. It had a great view of the park. I had the pool and hot tub all to myself a few times, so I could get some alone time getting my feet wet and swimming like a dolphin. I was just hoping for a thorough Swedish Massage, just like I had in Maui, but they only had the Dictator Special, which wasn't my cup of tea at the time. Maybe next time. So all in all, a swell experience.

WOW! What a great place the service their was amazing, everyone was a little on thin side.. But hey that means they're healthier than us Americans! They all went nuts though when i called the painting of the short guy (A thought his name was Kim but not for sure) fat. The service was always there before i asked, the pool was okay it would've been nice if the staff didn't keep drinking the water. The buffet was always eaten before it was served. It was a great trip to go see and try to catch a Mr. Mime

It was great, easily the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Service was fast and responsive, but that may be due to the fact I was the only person in the hotel. Rooms could have been better but they were easily the best in Pyongyang. Strange portraits of a fat guy put me off a little but you grow used to them after awhile.
