St. Kitts an up and coming tourist location, What is the best way to start FOOD of course.
Laurna (Owner) meet us down at the Port of Zante.
Then took us in a nice walking tour with a lot of History on our way to our first restaurant.
Palm Court, A must see just for the view and gardens. We had a great starter, fresh garden salad, saltfish and jonnycake presented beautifully.
Next stop up around the corner OTI nice breadfruit and coconut soup, Chicken Wonton, saltfish cake. The view again really nice.
Then on back to the Port of Zante to get one of the largest Jonnycakes around (we shared) and some drinks.
Then on our way to our last stop the Art Gallery for dessert , (Street stop for some fresh fruit that Laurna had prepared) again walking, up through Independence Square (more history) :)
Dessert, Shortbread botton, Carmel center with a thin fudge top. (O' so sweet)
we could only eat half.
Needless to say we did not end this tour looking for a place to eat.
A Great Day, A Great Guide and Great food a MUST TRY..
We learned a great deal of the history of St. Kitts, nice and casual walking tour.
