Shipwreck beach bar gives off a pure & natural vibe. Scenery is beautiful, tasty food, great music, quality service and the Monkies/Mongooses are wonderful!

Love this place. The whole vibe made me want to come back again and again. The staff are friendly and seem really quite happy. The food and drinks were great too.

Fun little beach bar but they need to put a sign up facing the ocean that is easy to see to explain the reef that is present. The sign that is hung up is so faded you can't even read it. Otherwise, good experience.

Very hippie kind of beach front bar and rest. Fair prices, I don't recommend frozen drinks there

If you are looking for an accessible beach shack with good food and drinks this is a nice option. Is quite small can and get busy with cruise ship groups at peak time. Worth a visit for beach swimming.

Great place for a lazy day. Free lounge chairs and shade if you want it. Food is typical beach bar fare but is tasty. Service is better than most restaurants. Wide selection of mixed drinks. Small establishment so if you're on a cruise ship try to get here ASAP.

Very rustic but lovely. Right in front of the beach. Good drinks and good food. Good caribbean live music on Sundays. Me and my wife spent a wonderful afternoon there. A place to visit when in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Beautiful place, be careful when going into the water coral reef is alive and dangerous, use the left side of the beach to acces the ocean safely, watch your feet.

You are going to love it here. This is the place to see the monkeys if you want to see monkeys, there is a beautiful beach in which when I first got there I saw a starfish, and the food is overall very good.

There is a nice place to snorkel right in front, but if you go farther down to the area right outside the cove where there are stairs, that is the BEST PLACE ON THE ISLAND TO SNORKEL.

You are going to want fins if you want to SEE A SEA TURTLE OR STING RAY. I never saw a sting ray, because you have to swim farther out away from the rocks, but if you want to see the sea turtle swim along the rocks really far out. Many people, including me, have swam out and saw the sea turtle.

Shipwreck is a hotspot in my opinion.

Hope this helps in your decisions! See my other review that I typed up on the Ragae Beach review. I put more about all the best places to eat in that review.

Dont turn around and walk away when you first see Shipwreck bar. You may be inclined to do so and it will be a big mistake. A bar, a kitchen and 8 or 9 tables (many of which are old fashion wooden picnic tables) comprise the restaurant. You can also walk the beach, relax on the free beach chairs or rent snorkeling gear. But you must eat or drink and thats the best part. The food and service are great as well as the portions and low prices. It is definitely a where the locals go.

Great home made food and fresh cut fries. Surprisingly good for a beach bar, and not terribly expensive. We didn't lounge on the beach, but it was a really nice setup as well.
