the place is lovely, i was expecting better tasty food.. Nothing on the menu for vegans to choose from. I order stew lentils with rice and was charge the same price of as a whole snapper fish. really don't know how they came up with that price..
I love the place, the ambience and service are quite something else, it's almost by magic We did a seafood buffet service from their recent menu changes on a Saturday night. It was an experience to remember, reasonably priced, tasty delicious food, a DJ, great ambience music. A bar also available as is outside seating, and semi outside seating. Would do this over and over again
On Saturdays they have a decent seafood buffet. Chowder, lobster thermidor, local seafood stews among other options. Food was OK, service was better, however, I did not appreciate the DJ blasting my ears while we were dining. It was completely unnecessary.
Food tasting good. Friendly servers
Gorgeous view. Excellent rum punch.
Good news, this place was remodeled and got a new chef in Oct 2016. While the service is still slow per prior reviews, the food was far better than expected. We set the bar low based on everything we read and we're pleasantly surprised. It ain't gourmet, but the tilapia and jerk chicken were both solid entrees. Granted the sides were a buffet and a tad flavorless but we had just arrived on a delayed flight and didn't have time for exploration. It was dark as can be but here's a few day shots.
It's a blessing that this restaurant is located on the water and provides an amazing view because you will have plenty of time to enjoy it while you wait for a $25 plate of cold vegetables, mediocre sides, and warm(ish) fish/meat. The first clue that our dinner would turn into a 2.5hr long saga was the starter course (soup and salad) for three taking 45 minutes. The only reason the meal didn't take longer is we finally hunted down the hostess and paid our bill, much to the ire of our waitress and the rest of the staff? Understandable, I mean the gall of us refusing to wait another half an hour to get the ticket we requested.
Beautiful location looking across Basseterre harbour with Nevis beyond. Menu includes fresh fish and lobster with the famous conch chowder as a speciality. A must visit address in St Kitts.
