Visited Romney Manor and Brimstone Hill Fort on a P&O cruise ship excursion. Both the Manor house and the fort offer spectacular views and scenery. At both venues we were allowed plenty of free time to explore at our own pace. The fort is such a mystical place. You are able to imagine being an infantryman all those years ago. If you find yourself on the beautiful island of St. Kitts I would recommend that you visit either, or both, of these stunning locations.

The fort and grounds are spectacular if you are interested in history and specifically St Kitts history. There is a $10 USD per person charge to get into the park and it is well worth it. The museum inside Fort George (the focal point of the park) is very informative and well presented. Definitely take some time to walk around the grounds and explore the other buildings, there aren’t any information signs which would have been nice but there are little write ups in the brochure you get when you enter the park.

There are spectacular views from the top of Monkey Hill and Prince of Wales Bastion that I feel get overlooked by many. There is also a small cemetery near the ruins of the former hospital with headstones dating back to 1790 for those who are interested in that.

Overall it is well worth the entrance fee to learn more about the history on this beautiful island.

What an awesome Fort with a spectacular view!! I would highly recommend visiting this place for anyone who loves history and incredible vistas! The drive up to the fort is pretty harrowing as the gates are super small and cars have about a 1 inch clearances on both sides! So be careful if you’re driving yourself 😊👍

This stop is incredible. The tour costs $10 USD per person. It starts with an orientation video that is played in your language of choice. There is a gift shop where you can purchase a variety of souvenirs. The prices are too steep for me. The fortress is very high up. Once at the top, you enjoy breathtaking views of the entire island. The view of the ocean is so beautiful. You also have great views of the surrounding mountains. In my opinion, this is a definite must see when visiting St Kitts. We arrived for only servers hours from a cruise; Carnival Fascination.

This stop is amazing , the views are beautiful. It can be strenuous in spots to walk up, but there are also easier areas for those who have physical issues. It was a great time learning a little about the history and really any direction you turn is a beautiful view of the mountains or sea. So glad our tour took us here.

During our trip to St. Kitts, we hired a taxi to drive us around the island and this was one of the stops he made for us. The view from the top of the mountain is breathtaking; you can see plenty of ocean as well as a couple small islands to the north. We listened to a brief presentation on the history of the island and this fortress, and then hiked up to look through the fortress itself. I would make it a point to stop here when you visit.

The fortress is amazing. It is a must see but you have to do it on your own. Tours don't give you enough time. It's a huge fortress and still improving it. They could do much much more. Great views of local islands. Just take a taxi bus or shared vehicle. Tours are usually like twenty minutes. You need double that

The Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park is an extremely well maintained Georgian Fort in St. Kitts with astoundingly breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape and seascape in some areas. The Fort is kept in a really great shape and the original structures and walkways are still in reasonably well preserved condition.

Two or more aspects of the Fort exist, at least from my perspective; The astoundingly breathtaking panoramic views and The fort itself. The view changes depending on the direction of observation and they are all spectacular. The grounds and structures are in great shape giving the impression of recent abandonment rather than centuries ago. Re-visiting history requires little effort/imagination and the past comes alive in a real way. The whole experience was quite enlightening and well worth the trip.

The Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park ia definite must see/experience for anyone in St. Kitts. A rather interesting and phenomenal point of interest well worth your while.

ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR fortress that I had never heard of! The history was amazing, & the overall area possessing a strong historical connection with a few of our Founding Fathers. (Washington, Hamilton, etc..). A bit of a climb, but my 80+ year old father managed it.

We visited during our vacation in December 2017. This was honestly the highlight of our trip. The views are incredible, as the history is so interesting. We had so much fun exploring the grounds. This is a must do when you're in St Kitts.

Spectacular! Incredible history and vistas wrapped up into one. It's probably at least 30 min from wherever you are staying but this is a must see on any visit to st. kitts.

Beautiful views. We took a public bus that dropped off at the road and we hiked from there. It was a pleasant and easy hike up the hill. Totally worth it.

The best view on the island. On our trip, we did as a 10 best of St. Kitts. However, on that trip it does not leave you enough time to tour this fort as I would like to. Nonetheless, get here however you can. You'll love it.

Stop here and check out the sites, on moped if possible. This site is beautiful, the history is well worth reading. There is a small entrance fee, but the site is very well staffed, and they provide an experience I don't mind paying for. After all, someone has to take care of it!

Love this place so much. It's 3 years since I was in St Kitts in 2013, and still remember it with great fondness. Came up here several times on a dawn stroll- well worth it! The tree frogs are deafening, and the view stunning at dawn.

What an awesome piece of history, not to mention the view! There is a steep hill, she narrow road to reach entrance, stay left hand use the horn. Fortress is well taken care of, clean and was not too crowded the day we visited. A must see for St. Kitts visitors.
