  A very sad place.
  
  While the school may be genuine there is a big tourist scam attached. You will be hounded to buy rice and donate it to the floating school to feed orphans. The purchase of rice appears to only benefit the rice merchant and perhaps the boat driver who takes you there.
  
  In retrospect we should have never gone to the floating village at all.
  We strongly recommend that you don't go either.
  
  Better to keep your money on-shore and donate it to a genuine charity.
