Corrupt piece of border crossing. They want you to pay 2 USD for a stamp No receipt possible as it's just their pocket money. If you stand your ground with the group your in they will finally give in. STOP CORRUPTION CAMBODIA

Fast (Not Crowded) + Collect Extra Fee (1+2 USD or Equivelent) in KH Side + Walking with Bags (Inbetween 2 office of la & kh ) => 6.0/10
    ----------------------------
If you ride the bus, Drop you off with your Bags in side & another bus Pick you up in the other side of border so must walk inbetween And must pay in both sides?): Because the bus & other passengers waiting you (In spite of, i have already had the kh Visa & I don't know how much if you will arrange VOA? And, take care if don't pay return Passport without Stamping so must review before go if not, comeback again hurry walking?
Many Passengers & Tourists say: It's a Courruption? i have another Opinion: I think, it's clear that: The government know so, you can consider the payment as Extra Hidden Fees to Help?! It's a Mistake but you can consider it as a Commision or a Serv. Charge!
(Laos) side is more comfortable because the People, in general, are: Polite & Calm But, in (Cambodia) side, are also good, but love the Show & Expansion

People are on the Cambodian as well as on the Lao side corrupt and ask for made up fees. And then only one of these guys is working while the rest sits outside drinking beer.

The border check point office on the Cambodia side has recently been renovated but facilities remain underdeveloped. When I was there two years ago, there were grasses all around. At the border, there are only a few small local 'restaurants' that don't seem to sell any good meals, except for instant noodles. So fill your stomach along the way first.

If you are traveling in a bus, it's good to ask the bus assistant to help you with visa stamp to save your time and possibly money that may be charged extra. Of course, you will be asked to pay for certain fees (I don't remember exactly, but something like US$2.5 per a local at both Laos and Cambodia sides).
