Thank goodness for finding The Kitchen. We were faced with street stalls and not confident about eating any food the we found this oasis. Great food, service and upmarket decor. Very clean.

I probably reviewed the kitchen before, no secret, I am biased when it comes to this place. I have been eating here since they were called Gecko Cafe 8 years ago.
The management changed and one of the oldest staff took over the restaurant and she is trying to run it with her husband with continues support from the amazing couple who made this place and delivered the first top food in Battambang.
If you don't like something the owners are very receptive to comment and critics and they will do their best to provide the best service.

Havent eaten a meal here but its expensive and the icecream shakes/fruit smoothies are really mediocre. Also they add a tax to the menu prices so the prices are not accurate.

One of the best food options in town, great Mexican dishes. Lovely Riverside location

I really enjoyed the food we had here. My wife and I both got the taco and burrito combo and were very happy with the food. The tacos were well seasoned and it even came with a few nachos and salsa which were amazing though a little spicy. I really liked the burrito. ur waitress was funny and very attentive. The food was made a little slowly but the restaurant was packed that night. I would definitely suggest going for the Mexican food but we didn't eat anything else.

Very nice place, the food took a little longer than most and I wasn't mad on the Mexican Burrito if I'm being honest. Good place, but not exceptional. Great hang out spot though for sure, just the food wasn't as amazing as I may of liked.

Had fantastic tacos. Staff were very attentive. Was a bit hot as it's open front.

Just needed a western meal for the family, a friend recommended this place. Probably wouldn't go again, burger was "meh", kids dish finish their meals, and my wife said the salad was sub par. The waitress-in-training was nice enough, but overall the service was just "ok".

Very clean and good looking place decorated with a painting exhibition on all walls. Also has a gallery upstairs.
I had a veggie burger with fries and was not impressed. The "steak" was good but bread and topping were very average and no sauce. Very dry. I had to put tomato ketchup myself. It was OK but one can expect much better for 5$ in Cambodia.

Didn't try the food, cause we stuck to the other best places in town, but please try coffee chocolate ice cream shake there! They took 15 min to make it and it was slightly more expensive than in other places around, but it was best we've had in our lives, honestly! So rich, so thick, so satisfying, perfect quality ice cream used, proper coffee espresso shots inside, bliss point with all the proportions.

The food at the kitchen is really good. I had the steak burrito and taco and found them flavorful. I'd definitely come back. Their mango juice is also good.

Such good food, we went back twice. It's more expensive, but it's higher quality food that is worth it in a wonderful ambiance. The servers got our orders wrong the second time we visited but were fast to correct and with a smile.

Google asked me to tell others why I hated this place but hate is a strong word.

Nice clean place. Staff friendly and seemingly well trained.

The menu has good dishes with a few of the choices that have imported meat which was important to me as I'm not sure on the quality of the cambodian beasts in terms of treatment and nourishment. And the place has a good ethos as well.

None the less I ordered mushroom n spinach quisadilla and my partner had the burger.

We forgot to take travlan before our meal and we both now are quite sick and struggle to leave the hotel let alone the bathroom (I will leave the details to your imagination) this has set our trip back by two days.

Not sure if its just us but really nice place and diner beware!!!
