Probably the best place for a nice dinner in kampot. The owners are very welcoming and so it's the atmosphere of the place. You'll have the chance to try some of the best Portuguese food with fresh ingredients and great selection of beverages which is something you definitely can't find in most Cambodian restaurants. The prices are very affordable. Highly recommended

This gets 4 stars for anyone that has been in Cambodia for a while. Service was excellent even when understaffed for the holidays. The food was missing just a touch of salt or acid that would really have made the dishes pop. The beef cheek is similar to a bourguignon and is served with a delicious port wine reduction and mushroom sauce on the side. It is cooked to perfection but the reduction is a bit of a one note addition to the sauce. The red cabbage slaw might have been better if slightly pickled. The pork and clams dish seems like the start of an amazing francesinha sauce and is very tasty. I wish there was a more affordable vinho verde on the menu but the Spanish white is good. The couverte is okay but seemingly under seasoned carrots Algarve and a pate that tastes a bit like canned tuna. Lastly, the octopus salad is delicious but served with very little actual octopus. Overall, I still recommend this place but keep expectations in line with local standards. It has a nice ambiance and ambitious menu. I only expect improvements as the owners seem well vested in the new location.

It's amazing what you can find while walking the quaint streets of Kampot. In a beautiful colonial French building a block back from the river you'll find a an upmarket Portuguese restaurant. And yes there is more to Portuguese food then Peri Peri chicken (even though they do have a version that you just must try using a gaming hen or spatchcock or whatever those midget chickens are called). Beef cheeks was my choice as I'm not a huge seafood fan. But some of the seafood dishes that came out we're huge and definitely could only be shared.

Awesome food and such a nice atmosphere. We had grilled tuna with Kampot peppers and cinnamon and it was SO good! Their wine is great and we were so glad to grab a seat at the bar on Christmas day, even though it was fully booked. Would definitely eat here again!

It's another hidden jewel in Kampot. The food was spectacular, anything with seafood that was prepared was absolutely fantastic. They have a great selection of wine, even "green" wine, and don't miss out on the sangria. The service pulled it all together. It is a must while visiting the area!
