The food is the same as everywhere in ST: terrible. Here, as an add on, you receive one of the worst an most unfriendly service by a completely incompetent staff.

It is a good place to stay at Steung Treng, it is located in the city and closed to river bank of Tonle Sekong and Tonle Mekong. The price is reasonable, double room is only 12$/night, can stay up to 4 people. The restaurant down there are also delicious, the price of food is reasonable, a bowl of fish soup cost 6.25$ with normal fish and with special fish cost around 30$/pot. The staff are friendly and smile everything, they are helpful as well. The hotel itself is located in secured area even night time. I would recommend it to all tourists to stay there.
