  Super friendly staff, happy hour everyday, dozen of beers, even more whiskies paired with the finest french cuisine, incredible music collection and parking spot right at the door. 👌5 stars.

  I never used to visit Shanghai, it just wasn't on my radar.
  
  Since its takeover by the same French people who own Mao close to the night market, I have been in a few times and I have to say I enjoy the tranquil atmosphere.
  
  You will always find someone to have a chat with, the food is also highly recommended, simple but very tasty, the chef really knows his stuff, making the french owners speak English is always a lot of fun 😊
  
  I would recommend it to anyone.

  Good food and friendly bar girls. Food a little on the high side when you compare it with restaurants on street 172. But of course you don't get the same eye candy in those restaurants as you do here. Cheap beer at $1.50 for draft

  Old, dearty, air con very cold and no clean, no good music and some ladies don't speak english , only are waiting A little bite customers , and roof top close until 6 :30 pm when it is open

  The SHANGHAI BAR IS One of the bigger air-conditioned bars in Phnom Penh and is situated on the intersection of Street 172 and 51. It serves local beer for USD 1.50 a half pint during happy hour and seems to be one of the popular spots for the expat crowd to gather for early evening warm-up drinks. The bar has a lot of local girls working in the bar as hostesses. They serve pub food of a reasonable standard and play background music at a volume which is low enough to be able to have a conversation.
