  The Serey Sophorn Market may be the best thing going in town but I keep being surprised at how long it is taking the town to catch up with the outside world. The odd thing is that I don't have much problem communicating with people in the market area, because I can speak Thai and we are a lot closer to Thailand here than we are to either Phnom Penh or Siem Reap. On the other hand the items and the infrastructure is at least 40 years behind the closest big cities and nobody seems to be in any hurry for it to change.
  
  The railroad is coming back though, the tracks have already been built in places and repaired in others, so I look forward to seeing some progress soon.

  Good location for shoping as it is in the downtown. You can find everything from vegetable, meat, grocery, clothes, shoes and soft-drink.
