At the beginning we hesitated to go to check out the workshop with their free tuk tuk, as we thought it was too good to be free, and they might push ha to purchase the items etc. Turned out it was nothing like that, we were not being pushed to get anything though we did end up buying some stuff from them as souvenirs fo the family
There will be a guide meeting you at the door when you arrive, and she will be guiding you throughout the whole workshop to see different things. She gave clear explanation and has lots of patience. Only downside was that most of the products are completed, we were not able to see the making process, such as the jam, the soap. We were able to taste the products, and majority we see the packaging process. Box making was cool though. The ladies were all very experienced. Also, it was a shock to us that how almost every single item is handmade, the label is cut one by one and stick by the staff one by one, not many machine is involved in the process.
The free tuk tuk picks you up from their store near the old market and drops you back at the store after done with the workshop. Our tuk tuk drove super fast even though there were many holes and uneven road. Not too pleasant on the way.response / report this review -

Went to the spa next door and enjoyed the service. I wanted to take home some of the products they used for myself and souvenirs. Very unfortunate that the cashier was very rude as she checked out my order. I had to ask HER if she was ok.
On top of that I was constantly followed and watched around the store. However, the white people in the store were not followed around. Nor were they treated rudely.
Side note: I am a tan-skinned Asian American. And despite the rude treatment, I still bought souvenirs because the products were good and they had nice gift wrapping.response / report this review -

Nice shop to buy some local gifts, but pricier than on the market, but therefore you get a nice packaging and you can pay by credit card! Good choice of products!

Beautiful products such as soap, balms, scrubs, spices and beautiful candles. Great place to buy souvenirs and gifts, and you can be sure the proceeds go to the local people as everything is made in Cambodia. You can also support the Friends n Stuff cause here!

The staff is friendly, the shop is luminous with a nice smell. There is a bar where you can taste some products. Here you have a great choice of differents products from food to clothes.

Lovely air-conditioned shop. Nice sales people. I bought a LOT of silk scarves here. They have several different types and many colors for a reasonable price.

This little place has some amazing fragrances that fill your mind and envelope your senses in a merry go round of delight. From the textures of the soaps, textiles and handicrafts to the perfumes enclosed in little black bottles topped with a silver chimney like cap. The experience of stepping into this shop will imprint the feeling of absolute relaxation and peace into your mind. And as you would expect, the staff are delightfully polite, warm and welcoming, and ever ready to help you with a smile on their faces. A definite must go for any new traveller or seasoned frequent visitor.
