  The silk farm was quite interesting. The Host spoke well and the display of the process was live and very enthralling. Seeing the raw sulk being collected was a great presentation, the spinning and weaving process was unique (and you can actually have a hands on go at the weaving) and the followup lunch was tasty. Silk scarves are available and the money goes to supporting all the people that work there (which is under 20). A good clean place for kids as well.

  Delicious lunch amid very pretty gardens. The silkfarm is a great local industry, and the scarves and shawls produced are glorious to feel. I bought 2!

  We were welcomed by Navin, the owner of the silk farm. She showed us around and explained the whole process from work to silk scarf. It was very interesting to see.
  She spoke good English and was very friendly.
