Terrible experience today at this "international" hospital about 30% of the people are wandering around WITHOUT masks, even staff! Most especially in the pediatric waiting area where there were so many people packed into a small area people were standing. (Photo is downstairs where I chose to wait and even there they did not enforce mask wearing). I will think twice before coming for my next appointment.

We visited here due to my sons’s illness when in Cambodia visiting my wife’s family. As an American who lives in Boston with the top 3 hospitals in the world, I must say I have never seen a more professional staff. The place is so clean you could eat from any surface. The western food menu was prepared better than any American chef I’ve ever had. Due to an issue with my insurance we were forced to pay out of pocket. At first this was panic inducing as I was used to the cost of medical care in the US. But with a hospital stay of 6 days and all, the total bill was only $670. And the day of checkout they refunded me the money after telling me my insurance had made payment.
I have never been so impressed. I wish the world would model their health system just as this hospital operated. Truly a bright gem in cambodia

Best service, good doctors everything is in one placegod food.,
Needs to retrain janitors to disinfect the room and restroom they are overloaded with the work and can’t not detail cleaning..
The down size is the hospital focus on the billing rather than stabilizing the patient first, even though I had a guaranty payment from Farlk international emergency medical service. Other than that it’s a very good hospital that meets international standard.

Horriable! Prescribed two medicines with an drug interdiction. Made me wait two hours for my scheduled appointment because he had paperwork to do. Told I could go to the cafeteria. Took a personal phone call from his wife during my examination. Flies in the lobby and bathroom dirty with overflowing garbage. Very unprofessional and uncaring. Arrogant and incompetent that’s how I would describe the.Will never go there again! My recommendation if sick go to Singapore.

It looks modorn and good facilities hospital. The process here is taking time. The patients need almost whole morning for health check-up since 7am till 1pm. What i dont like is the service here, I am not sure about other's experience. The staff is kinda friendly but I remember I accompanied my mom for helth check-up and one staff prepared and allowed other patient who came later than us to go prior. I did not make any complaint at that time since my mom did not want me to do so. This's already upsad me. Then, the hospital promised to send the report of Pap Smear within two weeks timeframe. I and my mom did not receive any report. This really disappointed me again with this international standard hospital Not recommend this high standard with poor service hospital.

I was treated at the ER today. All staff were very attentive and everyone spoke great English. They made all tests necessary very quickly, the results were ready in less than an hour. The physician on duty was very attentive and made sure I understood my diagnosis thoroughly. In case you are unfortunate like me and need medical assistance when in Phnom Penh, worry not, RHPP provides excellent care.

Don't come here if you are a foreigner looking for a simple vaccination. I went in for a simple tetanus shot and it took 3+ hours. The whole time you can tell that they were trying to get as much money out of me as possible with bs tests and fees. We went back and fourth almost 10 times. I prefer MW Clinic in Phnom Penh instead for vaccinations. They won't take advantage of you if they see that you're a foreigner with money and they get you in and out quickly.

I like many things here and it's probably the most reliable private hospital in Phnom Penh. Staff are friendly and professional. Plus, it also has spacious parking so you don't have to worry about going around spending minutes just to park. One thing I don't like here is the slow processes even just to pay our bills.

My wife gave birth to our son in September 2015. The paediatrician on duty wrote in his file that no heart murmur could be detected. Seven months later, after our son had to be rushed into the ICU of another private hospital, an echocardiogram showed that our son had a “hole in the heart”. Detection at birth would have spared our son the health problems he had from the time he was three months old and the stress, etc our family had to endure. Why didn’t Royal Phnom Penh Hospital (RPNH) do an echocardiogram at the time our son was born? A private explanation put forward by a prominent staff member of RPNH was that, possibly to keep the “package cost” reasonable (if you consider $1500 for a two-night stay in hospital and normal, no complications delivery to be reasonable, , RPNH would only recommend one if the paediatrician detected a heart murmur. If that’s the case, why do most other Cambodian public and private maternity clinics in Phnom Penh order include one in their package which, in fact, is often much cheaper than the package cost at RPNH? What is the actual cost to RPNH of doing one? $10? $20? Central Hospital near Central Market charges $15 and it’s performed by a cardiologist, not by an ordinary radiologist. Even it RPNH was to charge $100, why did it not give us, as parents, the option to have one because, in our son’s case, it is likely that there was no audible heart murmur. Therefore, the only way to detect a “hole in the heart”at birth is via an echocardiogram. Or is RPNH so intent on maximising profits that it is not prepared to absorb a marginal cost of $10-20 in a package that is well over $1000? On the plus side, my wife and I found the lady gynaecologist and the nursing staff at RPNH to be professional and competent.

Got a minor problem and had to visit the ear doctor. I didn't see much, but it is a hospital with the standarts of a Western medical centre (or higher). It's far from the city, but as long as it is not an urgent issue, it's okay. Penty of carpark and services within the complex.

Not the cheapest option, of course, but you know you will be treated well.

FOREIGNER/TOURIST: just spent last night here looking after the girlfriend. Amazing facilities, better than in Australia, almost no one there so you get immediate attention. Fantastic staff that all speak great English. Pricy, but if you have travel insurance it's all fine. Nothing compared to America. If you're debating going to a hospital in Phnom Penh, just go here.
