Couldn't give it 4.5 so will stick with 4. Food is great and atmosphere as well as service, so for those items I'd give it a 5. However, the cost is quite high for Cambodia so I dropped a star. The concept is great though as they train and teach impoverished teenagers and are really helping society, so this mostly justifies the cost.

I'd definitely go again though as the food is great and they have some fairly exotic dishes like tarantula

A little expansive for What it is but the food is Well prepared, good presentation, tasty and sometimes original. Try the mango sticky rice :)

Waiters are nice. And you can pay by card without fee. Free glass of water. Beware of mosquito

Have been here three times within a short period of time in Phnom Penh. Loved it every time! Have had a bottle of wine, then twice cocktails, all absolutely amazing. Some of the best cocktails in all of my travels. For being most of a vegetarian diet the food here is great!! Very happy with their selections. Great atmosphere! I’ve been traveling for weeks without well dressed clothed and still felt as welcomed as people much more well dressed as us. Would recommend to anyone traveling through the area!!

One of the great dish in the past is Amok. Amok was steamed in the banana leaf. Current amok was cooked in the pan and put in to the banana cup. It is a shame. In the past this is the authentic Khmer food. Now menu is focus for tourist.
Nice service. Very clean. Reasonable up market price.

Absolutely amazing food! There is a lot on the menu for food that everyone is bound to be interested in! Including a couple of exotic choices for the more adventurous. My food came out in around 10 mins so very good service with lovely smiley staff! Over all Beautiful pace to rest and have a cocktail, it is priced high but we'll worth it for the quality.

Food quality - amazing. Red ant stir fry was tasty.
Variety - good variety
Service - great service. This is a school for marginalised youth. They are sweet and very obliging.
Value for money - a little on the expensive side.
Atmosphere - nice colonial feel.
Cleanliness - very clean.
Accessibility - easy walk in town.
Toilet cleanliness - unknown. Didn't go

Really lovely place. Great menu made it really difficult to choose what to have. A tasting menu would be a great addition. Yes, it is a little pricer than other places but no more than you'd pay for a meal out in Europe. If you're on a budget it's worth spending a few days on street food to save up for a meal here. Added to that, the money goes to a good cause so you get an extra glow for your money

Beautiful setting in the garden of an old colonial house. The restaurant is more expensive than average, but it is a training restaurant supporting local youths. The cocktails were great and the food was tasty. Great place to try tarantulas, frogs, crickets, and ants in a safe environment 🙈

As one person said before, food is good, but not great. Staff is inattentive - we were waiting some time ready to order dessert and no one paid attention. A lot of Tourist groups. I was dissapointed based on the previous good reviews and would not recommend it.

Food was good but not great. 4 stars because you can try spiders and bugs which taste not too bad. Service for us was not great as they never asked if we like it and when i asked for insect repellent they offered to light a candle with repellent at our table but never did it

This was one of my best meals in Phnom Penh. Although it was the Burmese Chicken that I ordered, the flavor, texture, temperature, everything about the dish was delicious. Excellent service, quiet and calm ambiance next to a pool and the food was prepared by a student learning how to cook. Really impressive. If you're looking for a great meal in PP, this is a great option.

The Meat curry made my day.

Unusual foods offered. Fried bugs, spiders and ants incorporated into the meals was a bit unnerving, but otherwise the food was above average and tasted fresh. Their Muslim meat curry is hands down their best dish. Nice environment overloaded with plants and a lovely sapphire pool set caddy corner uplifts the tone of the eating area.

This was an amazing restaurant with great service. Reservations are strongly recommended otherwise long wait times can be expected at peak dinner hours. Try the tarantula appetizer if you dare haha

First of all you're going to pay western prices for the food and drink here. Ambience is nice. Food was poor. Ordered fried fish which did not have any meat on it. Roasted pork was also extremely small portion. Chicken was undercooked and had to be sent back. I would avoid and find a restaurant on the street that you see open.

I experienced one of my favorite meals in Phnom Penh here. The food is excellent, Service is wonderful and the menu offers a ton of variety. Romdeng is also a cause-based restaurant meaning they give back a portion of their profits to a local cause.

Try the charred eggplant and port. It is ridiculously amazing. I wasn't brace enough to try one of their bestsellers, the tarantulas, but maybe next time 😝

Great place to eat, here you can find delicious cambodian flavours (traditional or new creations) price is a little higher, but well worth it. Ingredients are top quality even the water is pure.

Service is great and servers spoke fluent English. Food is very average, lacks flavour and balance. Despite being cheap compared to back home (in Australia), I consider the food to be expensive when compared to other food prices in Phnom Penh. Most customers were expats.

Excellent food, friendly and service. We got adventurous and ordered the insects and tarantulas - they here quite good! The grilled eggplant and pork was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend.

Came here with high expectations given all the rave reviews and recommendations. There were only two of us so we ordered the fish amok, beef curry with bread and crunchy noodle salad. Fish and beef dishes were overcooked, the meat was dry and flavours were a little "toned down" for the western palate. The crunchy noodle salad with tofu and spring rolls was a serious standout dish though, I would go back just for that one dish. It was so fresh with lots of crunch, flavour and texture. SO GOOD. We also ordered the banana fritters dessert which was quite underwhelming, the pina colada ice cream had this strange chemical aftertaste which was quite unpleasant. But that crunchy noodle salad. I could eat a whole plate by myself. Yum.

Beautiful oasis on #174 St
The gardens are lush and fans keep you cool. Service is attentive. Rice is included with your order.
The wing bean salad was delicious! So crunchy with a good amount of chilli. Five Spice pork was also tasty. Prices are reasonable for generous portions.
